What's your white rabbit?

My friend Chandan called me yesterday and told me the challenges he faces after he was fired from his job. He was doing well in customer support but laid off in the company's restructuring exercise. Now, he is not getting any calls and hence was quite depressed. I explained to him about so many career choices available these days. Those like video editors, YouTubers, internet marketers, and so, asked him to pick some new skills on the technical and mindset front. He didn't seem excited and went on ranting about all the problems in life, blaming his parents and everyone around him. I just kept quiet, listened to him, and finally said, "do let me know if I can be of help".  This incident reminded me of the man's lovely story in a remote town. I love it because it's the story of your life. And mine. And everyone else's. It seems the man was an honest, hard-working who never hurt a fly.  Pleased with his excellent work, a fairy magically appeared before him an...

Can Only Money Make You Happy?

To realize your unlimited potential, we need to improve ourselves all the time. We generally improve ourselves for one of two reasons: inspiration or desperation. If we're taking responsibility for self-improvement and showing people how to reach for more meaningful, better lives, our trigger is an inspiration. If we are waiting for any external triggers, our trigger is desperation.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿?

What we become is far more critical than what we have. Most of what we have today, we have attracted by becoming the person we are right now.

Income rarely exceeds personal development. Sometimes income takes a lucky jump, but unless you learn to handle the responsibilities that come with it, it will usually shrink back to the amount you can handle. If someone hands you a million dollars, you’d better hurry up and become a millionaire. A very rich man once said, “If you took all the money in the world and divided it equally among everybody, it would soon be back in the same pockets it was before.”

Champaran’s Sushil Kumar also won Rs 5 crore on the fifth season o Kaun Banega Crorepati. He is still among the biggest winners of the show but now says that it was his worst day of life. Because the media would keep taking his interviews and ask for updates on his life, he made investments in a few businesses just so that he would have something to tell the journalists. However, most of those ventures flopped. From getting addicted to booze and cigarette, getting duped by cheats, making some bad decisions to even ruining his relationship with his wife, Sushil talked about all that went wrong.

The moral of the story is "it is hard to keep the Money or anything that has not been obtained through personal development".

So, only money can never make you happy!! What are your thoughts?

Thank You!
