What's your white rabbit?

My friend Chandan called me yesterday and told me the challenges he faces after he was fired from his job. He was doing well in customer support but laid off in the company's restructuring exercise. Now, he is not getting any calls and hence was quite depressed. I explained to him about so many career choices available these days. Those like video editors, YouTubers, internet marketers, and so, asked him to pick some new skills on the technical and mindset front. He didn't seem excited and went on ranting about all the problems in life, blaming his parents and everyone around him. I just kept quiet, listened to him, and finally said, "do let me know if I can be of help".  This incident reminded me of the man's lovely story in a remote town. I love it because it's the story of your life. And mine. And everyone else's. It seems the man was an honest, hard-working who never hurt a fly.  Pleased with his excellent work, a fairy magically appeared before him an...

Do You want to become Unhurt-able?

Born with a congenital heart defect, asthma, and battling obesity in his life, David Goggins is now considered the toughest person alive on earth. An ultra-marathon runner and ultra-distance cyclist, triathlete, and former Navy SEAL, David formerly holds many world records. But more than his physical toughness, his mental toughness will blow your mind. After reading his autobiography you will feel you have not lived even 1% of your unlimited potential yet and you will become unhurt-able. Before any of these achievements, though, Goggins was making $1,000 a month working as an exterminator and living paycheck-to-paycheck. He was also out of shape, weighing nearly 300 pounds. Every day, at the end of his 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift, he would stop at Steak ’n Shake: “I would go in and get a large chocolate milkshake,” Goggins tells CNBC Make It. “And then I would go across the street to 7-Eleven, get a box of mini donuts.” On his 45-minute commute home, he’d “pop donuts like Tic Tacs.” As soo...

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱?

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱?  My friend Vachaspati was assigned on a very important project which would have certainly given him the next level of growth in his job. He was so excited about it when he told me about it last month.  It was just a week's assignment, and he started working on it. To my surprise, he called me last week saying he missed the golden opportunity and someone else has been promoted. He could easily finish the assignment but got distracted by the Republic TV and "Breaking bad" web series on Netflix. Isn't that surprising? 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂? Thank You!
