What's your white rabbit?

My friend Chandan called me yesterday and told me the challenges he faces after he was fired from his job. He was doing well in customer support but laid off in the company's restructuring exercise. Now, he is not getting any calls and hence was quite depressed. I explained to him about so many career choices available these days. This time he decided to start up-skilling himself on communication skills with us, but it was too late. He, unfortunately, could not save his job (I helped him with another job but almost at 60% less salary)?
