What's your white rabbit?

My friend Chandan called me yesterday and told me the challenges he faces after he was fired from his job. He was doing well in customer support but laid off in the company's restructuring exercise. Now, he is not getting any calls and hence was quite depressed. I explained to him about so many career choices available these days. Those like video editors, YouTubers, internet marketers, and so, asked him to pick some new skills on the technical and mindset front. He didn't seem excited and went on ranting about all the problems in life, blaming his parents and everyone around him. I just kept quiet, listened to him, and finally said, "do let me know if I can be of help".  This incident reminded me of the man's lovely story in a remote town. I love it because it's the story of your life. And mine. And everyone else's. It seems the man was an honest, hard-working who never hurt a fly.  Pleased with his excellent work, a fairy magically appeared before him an...

Power of a Dreamer...Sushant Singh Rajput!!

Brian Tracy says, "People with clear, written goals, accomplish far more in a shorter period than people without them could ever imagine". That's what Late Sushant Singh Rajput also proved. He had a clear written dream list. Here is a written dream list of Sushant Singh Rajput. He always had a list of dreams from being a topper in engineering to become an actor, and he achieved all of those (the reason why his competitions were scared of him I believe) and kept on adding more.  Out of this, also he already had lived around 17 of the dreams and was in track to finish remaining. Be Dissatisfied...Be Happy!!

Last Sunday, my wife asked me, "Sweetheart, why don't you talk to your buddy Ranjit. His wife, Monika, called me and said he is too much stressed out these. He is in too much debt due to a new house he bought. His salary is almost stagnant for five years. Even when not busy in office work, he hardly has any time for his family, and instead, he keeps himself busy in either watching cricket, news, or Netflix series. Have you encountered any such person in your life? Being concerned for my childhood buddy Ranjit, I called him all the pain in my voice, "How are you, my brother Ranjit." He replies in a very confident voice," I am perfectly fine." I was surprised since I thought being a good friend, he will open up with me about the challenges he is going through.  I tried further and told him, "I am glad you're doing so well, even during this crisis times of COVID, how is your future looking in these times." He said "Bro, we can't predict ...

Win the morning, win the life!!

What is the first thing you do the moment you wake up in the morning? Since the start of my career, morning has always been a rush hour for me. In my mind, I used to think there was so much to do, and so little time. The first thing I used to do in the morning was to check my emails, browse the newspaper, get ready and rush for office, that's it, I was already into stressful overdrive mode daily. Then one fine day, one of my friends recommended a book named "Miracle Morning" to make morning effective and it was sort of eye-opener for me. It changed my morning routine altogether and in turn, it made the whole day much productive. I realized - “Every day you and I wake up, we face the same universal challenge: to overcome mediocrity and live to our full potential”, but this book by Hal Elrod actually gave me a recipe to overcome that challenge. So, what's the recipe for miracle morning according to Hal? Its life "SAVERS". Life S.A.V.E.R.S. is an acronym, a 6-s...
